There have not been any major developments since the whole Jets tampering charges story, but I thought I would add a quote or two from our San Fransisco correspondent Matt Barrows. "There's been a notion floating around that the 49ers don't need Crabtree and that the receiver wouldn't fit into their sledge-hammer offense anyway. I disagree. Every account of Crabtree I've gotten is that he is as tough as nails on the field and that he loves to block defensive backs as much as he does catch the ball." And another: "The bigger issue is the reputation of the front office. In the end, that's what this standoff is all about. Agent Eugene Parker felt that this was a battle he could win. Deion Sanders: Teams Are Contacting the 49ers About Crabtree 
Deion Sanders said during a segment on NFL Network that Michael Crabtree is willing to sit out the entire season should the 49ers not meet his contract demands. Sanders, who was represented by Eugene Parker (Crabtree's Agent) when he was a player, also said that several teams have contacted San Fransisco about the possibility. Deion said that the teams wanting to trade for Crabtree would be willing to give Crabtree a $40 million deal. Aaron Maybin Agrees To Deal With Bills: 
The Buffalo Bills have signed their first round draft pick Aaron Maybin to a five year deal of which terms were not disclosed. Adam Schefter of ESPN got the scoop on this one. Mort blamed the bus for his lack of info and John Clayton was too busy hiding his pony tail to contact his source.
