Last Season: 8-8, Second in AFC West. What We Like: Eddie Royal was the most impressive rookie wide receiver in the NFL last season, picking up 91 receptions and 980 receiving yards. He did lose Jay Cutler, but he did gain Kyle Orton. That means more screens and divots that Royal has perfected as a 2nd year player. His 91 receptions could go up if Orton uses him as a safety valve instead of one his running backs.
Last Season: 9-7, second in NFC North What We Like: Adding a franchise quarterback will never hurt. Jay Cutler demanded a trade and he got one. His rocket arm is a solid attribute as is his willingness to take risks. Though, sometimes that is one of his weaknesses. The Denver Broncos have officially traded Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears. In return the Broncos will receiver a 1st and 3rd round pick in this year’s draft along with next year’s 1st rounder and starting quarterback Kyle Orton.
