Texans Square Off Against Favre In 10 Minutes

We will be watching to see how our Texans do. Hopefully Favre will throw a couple of picks and Adrian Peterson gets a limited amount of touches.

We want Andre Johnson and Steve Slaton to get a few touches, but get them off the field after two series.

2009 NFL Previews: Denver Broncos

Brandon MarshallWe’ll be doing our previews randomly over the next 32 days or so. Fifth up, the Broncos.

Carroll’s Charles Coleman Defeats Laredo Alexander Alone

If it hadn’t of been for #3 lining up in the backfield behind Carroll Tigers’ quarterback Jake Sims, Head Coach Terry Morris would be on the hot seat for his job. Well, that’s probably too extreme, but it would have been an ugly result for a Carroll team that was looking at Laredo Alexander [...]

Rangers Go Into New York, Win Series Against the Yankees

Ian KinslerIt was an impressive get-away-day performance for the Texas Rangers, who had something to prove on their current road trip which has taken them to Tampa Bay and New York for sets against the Rays and Yankees.

This series against the Yankees was Texas’ chance to prove whether they belonged in the post-season conversation, and I am more than sure that their offensive explosion caught the eye of a few New Yorkers who will now have to root for their rival Boston Red Sox if they wish to bring home their first pennant in New Yankee Stadium.
