Cole Hamels Will Not Start In The Phils' Season Opener: Philadelphia Phillies ace Cole Hamels has been ruled out for the defending champs opener on April 5th against the Atlanta Braves. Hamels has been experiencing elbow problems all spring and recently got two anit-inflamitory shots in his elbow. Cole is expected to raise his pitch total to 85 in an exhibition game Saturday and, if everything is fine, will be expected to start on April 10th against the Colorado Rockies.
