Not surprising. LeBron is the better player at this stage in their careers, but the biggest flaw in his game is his lack of one-on-one skills. With his size, he should have an advantage in the post, but until we see otherwise, he does not have a post-up game. Kobe, on the other hand, is mostly reliant on his post-up game at this point as his athleticism fades, so that’s where the game would be won.

While Miami’s defense has been impressive, I have to point out what a great job Jason Kidd has done against bigger guards this post-season. He is so terrific at using his body. I’ll be doing a full post on this tomorrow but watch how well he defends Wade on switches. Just masterful defense.

As I was going to say in my Finals preview, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Mavs take this game. If they do, I think they’ll win it in six. After they beat the Lakers in game one in the Western Conference Semi-Finals they got an edge about them and once they get that edge I think they are a very tough team to beat.
