I am a sports fanatic. I spend most of my time watching Synergy clips and when I’m not doing that I’m probably watching NBA League Pass.

I started this blog in October of 2008 writing about the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

When the World Series came around, I extended his coverage to baseball, and from there, it grew to every sport.

I was fortunate enough to experience his first game as a member of the media with the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros. I got to meet up with Justin Smoak before the game that night and that was my first professional interview.

My second event as a member of the media was the Team USA Basketball Showcase that took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. I got to tape practice and the Showcase game, as well as interview players like Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, O.J. Mayo, David Lee, Rudy Gay, Andre Iguodala, Greg Oden, Devin Harris, Kevin Love, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Randolph, and Josh Smith. I also won a Twitter contest when I met up with Andre Iguodala and Rudy Gay at a Cheesecake Factory in Las Vegas, after both players summoned their followers to hunt them down.

I plan on using this blog as a spring board to launch my journalism career after he graduates from college.

This blog is dedicated to covering all things in the sports world, with most of the attention focused on the NBA.

Special Thanks

I would like to send out a special thanks to the following people for helping me establish my site and helping me grow it beyond boundaries that I never thought I could cross.

Michael Coffin
– For giving me my first media credential ever to cover the Corpus Christi Hooks. My first experience in a professional setting was invaluable and I will never forget it.

Craig Miller – My relationship with Team USA Basketball is all thanks to Craig. Thanks to him, I’ve gotten to spend countless hours (or at least it seems that way) chatting with NBA players. My first summer with Team USA was easily the best time of my live and I owe it all to Mr. Miller.

Jason Jones, Nick Friedell, and Eric Pincus
– I would like to thank Jason, Eric and Nick for helping me not only by doing an interview with me for the site but also by giving me guidance on my journalistic future.

Jason McIntyre, J.E. Skeets, and Trey Kerby – Several sites have linked to me and I would like to thank them too, but these three guys have given me the most pub. Without them, I’m not sure who would be reading my site. Which brings me to the…

Readers – Everyone who writes does so to be read. At least those who write for a job. I write to be read and I thank you for stopping by. And finally.

My Family – Without them, this wouldn’t be possible. Everything from air travel to necessary encouragement is thanks to them. Thank you.
