That was such a heady move by both defensive players on that one. They both went for the ball so I doubt there is one camera angle that will find that ball and see if it hit the ground.
That was a key first down on the reverse, and what an all-around game for Ben; running the ball, throwing the ball, punting, and blocking. He might even kick the next extra point.
Welcome.
I am going with the Steelers over the Chargers 21-10.
[...] of the work. The CBS crew is looking at Pittsburgh, but I expect another close one.  Also visit Mark and his open threads.  On to the [...]
Got Steelers 17-13.
Sproles already making an impact. The defense was drawn towards him and Gates got wide open for 21.
The buzzed driver Vincent Jackson makes the Touchdown catch, barely 2 minutes into the game.
Parker is basically a taller, stronger Sproles. He would be a big star by now if it wasn’t for his injuries.
Parker is a good back. Captain Ketchup gets a few, but it is coming back.
4th and 8, and going for it? Strange. Could it be the weather?
Didn’t know Ben was left-footed.
Rothlisberger turns into Mitch Berger on that one.
Santonio takes it Holmes. Steelers are about to tie it up.
Quite an exciting run. The Chargers won’t let it happen again, they promise
This has settled down a little bit. Punts galore.
Yup, I am waiting for Sproles to break off a big one.
The Steelers are really sticking with the run.
Big decision here. Going for it on 4th and 2. But the Chargers call a timeout.
Almost an amazing catch by Vincent Jackson, but the ball hit the ground.
Steelers HAVE to go for it here.
They do on a fake punt, and they fail. Chargers ball in good field position.
Chargers are picking up the blitz well, but they aren’t getting the yards.
They were clearly playing for the FG there.
Sproles is not living up to his expectations. Maybe second half adjustments will help him out.
Kaeding hits from 42. 10-7 now.
Rothlisberger is coming alive this drive. Steelers might get a score here.
Wow, that was an open first down and a clock stopping play
GREAT throw by Big Ben
WHAT A CANNON! Rothlisberger hits Hines Ward for a big 41 yard gain.
Willie Parker puts the Steelers ahead with a 3-yard tocuhdown rush.
This one looks like it will have an amazing finish.
Big Ben is making some big throws here. He is starting to pick them apart. And I say this as a Ben-hater.
Rothlisberger is looking like a stud on this drive.
Touchdown Heath Miller.
Nice fake and nice patience.
An 8 yard TD strike caps off a 13 play, 77 yard drive.
8 minutes is the killer part of that.
And there is the big play for the San Diego Chargers. Finally Sproles breaks free.
INTERCEPTED!!!!!! LARRY FOOTE!
Big play dies quickly
Sucks for SD, cause now Pitt will probably run the quarter out with another drive.
That was such a heady move by both defensive players on that one. They both went for the ball so I doubt there is one camera angle that will find that ball and see if it hit the ground.
Can’t see it being overturned. But stranger things have happened.
The play was challenged, and it stood. Pittsburgh ball.
That timeout that they lose might be crucial later on.
The Clock Churning begins.
Ben can block too!
That was a key first down on the reverse, and what an all-around game for Ben; running the ball, throwing the ball, punting, and blocking. He might even kick the next extra point.
This is where the Steelers have been earning their paychecks today, on third and long.
Just when it can’t get worse, it does
The momentum will just not leave Pittsburgh. And guess what…Norv CANNOT challenge.
