Jose Canseco decided to stop by Yokohama Stadium in Japan to take some batting practice before a Japanese Professional baseball game.
Canseco took nine pitches from former Seattle Mariners closer Kazuhiro Sasaki, connecting on a few. However, the former Oakland Athletics slugger who hit 462 homers during his time in the major leagues, failed to send one out of the park.
“His fastball and forkball haven’t changed much since he was in the major leagues,” Canseco said. “I should have practiced more.”
Jose was in the country to get ready for his fight with South Korean fighter Hong Man Choi on the Dream 9 card in the Yokohama Arena. Choi is a 7-foot-2, 330-pounder who is 1-2 in MMA fighting.

Jose Canseco is a powder puff compared to Hong Man Choi; he didn’t stand a chance
Why would he want to fight a 7-footer? He’s probably stronger, but that height disadvantage is brutal.
