Just an update on how Barry Zito is rebounding from his 10-17 record last season.
- He is 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA in his two starts this season
- In 9 innings, Barry has given up 11 hits, 10 earned runs, 6 walks and 8 strikeouts(positive!)
- He controlled the universe by blowing a large amount of snot out of his nose
- People questioned his sexuality
- He posted the following on his Twitter: “It’s cold in my room, but my Dutch oven warms me up.”
Do all of those things add up to equal the 7-year, $126 million deal that he signed back in 2006? Yeah, I didn’t think so.
