The Giant’s star wide receiver accidentally shot himself in the leg at the Latin Quarter nightclub in New York City. Plaxiglass’ teammate, middle linebacker Antonio Pierce, has also been dragged into this mess. He is being accused of hiding the gun that Burress shot himself with.
The 31-year old Burress is expected to turn himself into the police Monday morning at 8am, and is expected to plead not guilty to felony gun possession charges. If he is found guilty, he can face a minimum sentence of 3 and a half years in prison.
