Despite having a hurt chest muscle, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Vladimir Guerrero set an Opening Day record for career RBIs. He got his 19th RBI on an infield single that scored Chone Figgins. He had previously been tied with Frank Robinson, who had 18 Opening Day RBIs.
