“A high-level source with the Minnesota Vikings tells WCCO-TV’s Mark Rosen that quarterback Brett Favre is expected to sign with the team Tuesday.
Favre is on currently on his way to Minneapolis and is expected to sign with the team this afternoon, the source said.
In late July, speculation that Favre would be joining the Vikings roster abruptly ended when head coach Brad Childress said the quarterback would remain in retirement.
On July 28, Childress said that he received a phone call from Favre Tuesday afternoon and that the quarterback will remain retired.”
The deal is expected to be worth $12 million for two seasons.
