The Yankees-Red Sox game last night might have settled the AL East. Alex Rodriguez became the first player in the history of baseball to hit a walk-off home run in the fifteenth inning or later while Brad Pitt was drinking coffee during a thunderstorm in Missouri while I was at a Giants game listening to people behind me try to find the pitch clock which they found in the bottom of the eighth inning but that wasn’t before Reds fans started getting heckled and a man with a Dodgers shirt was a cursed out to break a 0-0 tie. Or, in short, A-Rod hit a walkoff two-run jack to end the 0-0 tie in the fifteenth inning. [NY POST]
