Google Voice:

I received an invite from Google Voice in an e-mail this morning and I can’t say how amazing this service is. It’s basically a free cell phone plan. All U.S. calls you make are free, all text messages are free, your voicemails are transcribed into text, and you get your own number. You can set it to where your house phone or cell phone rings when that number is called. It’s a pretty sweet. I’ve added a call me button to the contact page. [Google Voice]
