Last season, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers played under the shadow of former Packers great Brett Farve. His performance wasn’t shabby for a first time starter, but because he failed to get his team to the playoffs, Rodgers received quite a bit of criticism.
Now that a year has passed and now that the fans have realized that most of the losses came because of a very poor defense, Rodgers is stepping into his sophomore season as a starting quarterback feeling much more comfortable and confident.
I am sure that not having to face Farve while he lead the Packers’ biggest rival, the Minnesota Vikings, is also helpful to Rodgers as he tries to conquer his role as team leader.
