A source told WDSU in New Orleans that Brandon Bass is at the top of the priority list for the Hornets.
Bass was drafted by the Hornets in 2005 and attended LSU for two years, so he would feel right at home in the big easy.
Brandon is a very hard worker and has showed that despite his lack of size (6-foot-8) he can rebound with bigger players because of his strength.
Bass averaged nine points and five rebounds last season with the Dallas Mavericks.
Brandon would be an excellent back-up for David West, because he will bring a lot of phyisicallity off the bench while West is more of a finesse scorer.
